A day tour to Tequila. We got up and caught the bus at 9:30 and headed west to the little town of Tequila that is noted for the production of a certain fiery drink that Mexico is noted for.
Thi is the Las Cabañas building seen from inside the courtyard. The dome of this building, as well as the entire vault are painted with murals by Clement Orozco, a son of the city.
One of the views of the vault of the hall with the Orozco murals.
The catherdral seen from north side with the beautiful gazebo in the foreground.
Wendy, Clar, Aaron, and accompanied Drtee to the Guadalajar regional museum. The culture crew.
A view of a beautiful restaurant that is located in the plaza area.
A fountain with four boys. One is spitting, another is spraying water from a frog, another from a big bottle and the fourth is well, performing a bodily function.
Another more elegant fountain that was snapped by Aaron Lara, who is an excellent photographer.
The Governmental palace
Shop til you drop. Guadalajara is the place to accomplish this feat. Here are Wendy, Mary and Clar in the Mercado Libertad, which is supposedly the largest open air market in the western hemisphere.
A veiw back up the plaza looking west from in front of Las Cabañas building.
Just another pretty architecture view. This is found in the Las Cabañas building, which originally was built as a hospital and children's clinic over 200 years ago.
A pretty baby with a proud papa.
Early morning shot of a vendor heading for the market.
