We went up the mountain to Toluca to visit the Cuahtemoc Brewery.

We stopped along the way to have a picnic lunch prepared by Guille. The altitude was about 11,000 feet, so most of the kids were pretty chilly and eager to eat and get back into the bus.

We were given a talk and a video of the history of the company and the various products they make. They are also the bottler of Coca-Cola for the country of Mexico.

These large retorts are the automated production area where all of the inputs are processed and cooked.

The control room where everything is computer controlled.

The backdrop to the bar that is shown in the entry to the Public Relations building. THe major brands are shown on the mirror above. They were pouring Sol when we arrived.

Some of the folks from Texas Tech. They seemed to enjoy the brewery and had a tough time leaving…on time.
