Only three hours from Querétaro is the mining town of San Luis Potosi, which is experiencing some major growth with modern factories, a prosperous and clean downtown, and broad streets.
One of the nicest hotels of the whole trip met us. A long afternoon ahead assured some rest before the last surge to the border.
