We got off to a late start from San Luis Potosi due to a couple of sleepy heads, but managed to make it into McAllen by 7:30, as projected.
The last mountain pass south of Ciudad Victoria. A beautiful pass that takes you up from the desert and over to Ciudad Victoria.
A bent rail shows that someone took a spill over the mountainside. A long way down.
After making it through the border and to the mall, a group of family and friends were there to pick us up.
Edith is calling home to get picked up from the La Plaza shopping center. Imagine that. A woman who doesn't want to hang out in the mall.
