Our first group shot of the day was taken in front of the Mural located on the Rectory of Tec de Monterrey, the pre-eminent university in Mexico. We went there to get a look around.

Sr. Marcelo Bravo leads the group through the tour and begins with showing the board with most of the campuses listed.

Outside again, Sr. Bravo shows the students the mural and explains the significance of the various symbols.

A partial view of the mural which covers the entire front of the building and is so big it won't fit in one frame.

Here we see part of a model of the entire campus of El Tec. Sr. Bravo shows the students the model and Selina, Christine and Reyna are taking it all in.

Wired! The students all must have a laptop and there are links all around the campus wherever students might want to use their compulsory laptops.

Lots of laptops here. These students are preparing for their finals which are taking place during this week.

Art! An exhibit of student art was on display on the second floor of the library and a student apparently thought her dainty underthings hanging on the line were artistic.

Here we see the students in the Student Organization Center listening as Sr. Bravo tells them how the Tec encourages all students to participate in student organizations.

This wall in the Virtual University shows the range of time zones the students enrolled in distance learning, either via internet or video satellite, are located in. Over 1300 sites can receive their signals!

Sr. Bravo shows us a model that explains the system which is supported by the Virtual University.

A video and a PowerPoint presentation were shown to the students. Here we can see them paying close(?) attention.

A male peacock roams the campus.

One more group shot taken in front of the bell tower. Notice that I managed to get into this one. That's me, the tall guy with the white beard.
