Sallie was celebrating her birthday on the 12th, so we stopped off here for a bit of the Irish mother's milk, as she terms Guiness. They had an Irish pub within two blocks of our hotel.
Sallie saw the Thompson Bros, Wexford sign and decided it represented an old Thompson family concern. What would you expect after drinking a Guiness?
You can see that I'm sort of squinting after having consumed a Guiness.
Back in the room to sober up. Sallie read a lot while she enjoyed her vacation in Salamanca. She strolled all over town and sampled lots of local foods.
Wouldn't you know we would run into a parade with lots of special characters. The buy with the red pants on was carrying a bowl and demanded that I pay him for taking his picture.
