The faculty certainly did a lot of eating out, while most of the students ate their meals in the homes where they were staying. Barbara Mayo is shown with a Chuleton meal at Isidro's Restaurant and standing in front of the Cantina Mariachi, a Mexican restaurant located near the Plaza Mayor.

Just look at those huges chuleton rib steaks! These steaks are like eating a huge rib roast and they cook them "bien hecho," which by US standards would be classified as rare or maybe medium rare. This writer had major problem trying to get a whole chuleton down and had to walk for two hours to just settle it down.

Notice Nena looking dubiously at us prior to launching into this huge meal.

The wait staff at Isidro's. They are (L to R) Alberto Blazquez, Ana Isabel Campo, Enrique Sanchez, Ruth Tomas, and Javier Pasqua. They're always there and they're always smiling and working hard to serve their many happy customers.

Javier sitting with two gals from California, Kathy Honda and Karen Walsh. They were on vacation in Spain and having a great time.

There will be more photos of other eating spots here soon. Don't worry, we're eating a lot!
