Ramiro Rea is the Coordinator of the program and works with the Secretariat of the Universidad to solve problems with students' class assignments, home stay arrangements, or whatever arises. He has been with the program for a number of years and, as a native speaker of Spanish and professor of Latin American literature, is very effective in dealing with students, faculty, and administrators. Dr. Gary Montgomery is a new member of the faculty at Salamanca this year. He's teaching a psychology class here and is getting acquainted with this beautiful city. He and Becky are having a great time. He even let her have her own page. Go and see it.

Glenn Moyes is teaching a couple of accounting classes here for the first two weeks of the session and will turn the students over to Dr. Atamian for the last two weeks. This is his first visit to Spain and he's learning a lot. |

Rubik Atamian has joined us for the last two weeks of the program. He is teaching the Certified Management Accounting Review class. Sonia Espinosa is teaching International Business. she and her two sons, Daniel and Andy, have made a tour of London, Paris, Rome and other parts of Europe before arriving here. This is her first trip here to Salamanca. |

Sonia Chapa has come to teach Communications 1303 and 1313 classes. She has been to Spain many times,but this is her first time teaching with UTPA in Salamanca. She is one of the top Flamenco dancers in the state of Texas...way more than just a fan. She operates a dance studio called Pointe & Plié back in the Valley. If you haven't seen her dance, you are in for one major treat - she
is unbelievable. Rey Duran, if you follow Flamenco in the valley, used

Dr. Bill Thompson, Professor of Marketing at U.T.-Pan American, is back for his fourth year. He is teaching International Marketing and Principles of Marketing. His wife Sallie and his grandson Jorgie are with him on this visit. DrTee, as he is called, has been teaching in Study Abroad programs since 2000 and has taught a class in Mexico called "Doing business in Mexico" five times and just returned from Mexico before heading over here to Spain. He is also the webmaster for this site. |
