This page is set up to display pictures from various weekend trips made by the webmaster and certain faculty members. Unlike the "Travels" page, this one doesn't have anything outside of Spain.

.One of the first trips was back to Segovia. Click here to see more pix of DrTee and Armando Dominguez's trip over the first weekend.

Another visit was made to Avila, which is a town about 60 miles East of Salamanca. It is noted for two major things…the walls surrounding the old town and the convent of Sta Teresa of Avila. Click here to see pix.

Located about forty miles SW of Salamanca is Peña de Francia, the highest point around. It's located near to the old town of La Alberca and some of the faculty and family went down to visit on the third weekend. See the pictures here.

Just west of Salamanca you can find a number of old cities, some almost abandoned. Here are the old and new bridges across the Rio Tormes at the town of Ledesma. See some of the sites the some faculty got to see on the third weekend.
